Modern classrooms might be technical marvels, but one less flashy learning tool remains as valuable as ever. Newspapers might not be as glamorous as tablets or other gadgets, but they are still an invaluable resource to educators and students. Coffeyville Community College (CCC) has announced that they are hosting their eight performance in the Humanities line-up with Christ Sayre, a traditional folk music musician. Sayre is a Lincoln, NE native and has been performing professionally for over 50 years. He has dedicated much of that time to the promotion and preservation of traditional folk music from Western Europe and North America.

Coffeyville Rotary to host Pennies for Polio

The Coffeyville Rotary Club has announced that they are partnering with fellow Rotary clubs around the world to raise money for an organization dedicated to the eradication of the poliovirus. The organization is called End Polio - there will be containers for folks to donate money in around town this month in conjunction with World Polio Day which is October 24.

Irritability and emotional outbursts are just one of the many indications that your child might not be getting enough sleep. Other things you might notice in a sleep deprived child are forgetfulness, hyperactivity, poor performance in school, and upset stomach.
